Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a supplier quality professional to ensure ISI-qualified suppliers meet quality, service, delivery, and cost targets. You will guide engineering in supplier selection for new products and provide DFM input to new designs while supporting both NPI and production.

You will lead improvements with suppliers, manage changes through ECOs, and drive timely CAPA closure, using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and SPC to optimize quality, cost and capacity across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Ability to drive process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean or related methods.

Responsibilities

• Work with suppliers to develop best manufacturing practices for NPI components.
• Execute cost reductions, capacity improvements, and risk mitigation with suppliers.
• Select processes and suppliers considering long-term fit and total cost of ownership.
• Manage supplier changes including process changes, production optimization, and new line validations.
• Drive changes to specifications and drawings through engineering change orders.
• Own and close supplier variances from symptom to root cause analysis and CAPA.
