Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a senior supplier quality engineer to drive supplier performance for ISI requirements in metal and plastic manufacturing. The role emphasizes supplier selection, cost/lead time improvements, and DFMs with NPIs and ongoing production.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure quality and cost targets. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in MIM/PIM and machining, strong communication, and a track record of supplier development

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in engineering/manufacturing of MIM, PIM, or Machining.
• Hands-on plastic injection molding experience and DFM knowledge.
• Strong communication and leadership with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Qualification deliverables with PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ, Gage R&R.
• Drive cost reductions and capacity improvements with suppliers.
• Select processes and suppliers for long-term fit and TCO.
• Manage supplier changes and new line validations.
• Lead ISI changes and CAPA documentation.
• Generate metrics and report status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Purchasing to onboard suppliers.
