Job summary

McKinstry, based in Seattle, WA, seeks a Supplier Diversity Program Manager to lead enterprise supplier diversity initiatives and empower project teams with tools, training, and guidance. You will drive inclusion of diverse subcontractors and suppliers across markets, coordinate with DEI and procurement, and mentor teams to meet supplier diversity goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience including managing people and programs.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and small/disadvantaged business contracting.
• Industry experience in construction, engineering, energy performance contracting, or high-performance design-build.
• Research and analytical skills with stakeholder interviews.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and time-sensitive situations.
• Strong self-direction and motivation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across a national, non-hierarchical org.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain a supplier diversity program aligned with company goals.
• Create tools, training, resources, and guidance for project teams to meet supplier diversity requirements.
• Build relationships with diverse subcontractors and suppliers in primary markets.
• Track and report MWDBE participation by project, market and year.
• Collaborate with DEI and procurement teams to set goals and report progress.
• Support RFP responses and project plans; participate in client engagements as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
