Job summary

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is seeking a strategic Purchasing professional in Depew, NY to manage supplier quality, develop supplier capabilities, and lead sourcing initiatives for highly engineered components.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing, Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams, plus a strong background in ERP systems and supplier performance management.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, sourcing, commodity purchasing, or project management.
• Experience working in an ISO / AS, or equivalent Quality Management System Certified environment.
• Reading drawings, tolerances, and dimensional data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the procurement primary point of contact for supplier quality and development efforts.
• Manage PCB’s Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier performance records.
• Lead supplier scorecard system and drive improvements for underperforming suppliers.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, Quality and Sales to set supplier standards.
• Lead cross-functional supplier initiatives to minimize total cost and maximize value.
