Job summary

TRIUMPH in Windsor, CT is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supplier Development to support the Supply Chain team as a technical resource for actuation products and related services. This role assesses supplier capabilities before selection and supports supplier non-conformances on legacy parts.

You will drive manufacturability improvements, address delivery challenges, part execution and quality issues, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to manage risks. Travel ~20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in a technical field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with external manufacturers and/or service providers.
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).
• Travel Required ~20%

Responsibilities

• Liaison between the Supplier, Triumph Engineering and Triumph Quality.
• Take internal operational challenges and drive process improvements in the supply base.
• Interface with internal teams and Suppliers in respectful way; facilitate productive communications between Engineering and Supplier regarding technical risks, challenges and opportunities.
• Uphold Quality and Process System requirements; work within quality system to manage review and disposition of supplier non-conformities. Support RCCA process with supplier as needed.
• Use technical skillset to bring cost reduction ideas to Supplier/Engineering.
• Conduct onsite Supplier Risk Assessments.
• Proactively manage poor performing suppliers using quality data trend analysis.
