Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Program Manager to work with our Sr.

Director US Operations to manage the execution of subcontracts for materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly specialized and complex nature through all phases of the program lifecycle. You will develop, implement, and manage strategies for our critical subcontracts, coordinating with program management, engineering and finance to deliver acquisition-ready work share packages to major subcontract partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred.
• 10-12 years subcontract or program management experience, aerospace and defense preferred.
• Experience with US Government acquisition regulations such as FAR/DFARS.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops supply chain and subcontract strategies that support current and future program needs.
• Coordinates with program management, business development, engineering, and executive leadership to incorporate innovations and best practices into our global supply chain.
• Provide subcontracting strategies, guidelines and training to Program Managers regarding SSOW development and work scoping.
• Support program teams and subcontract administration in tracking major subcontractor performance (delivery, quality, EV).
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies that support program financial goals.
• Conduct briefings to internal and external senior leaders to convey strategies for improving supply chain and subcontract performance.
• Support proposal and program start-up activities when not supporting SSOW development or training.
• Liaise with subcontract management resources and program teams to ensure alignment of tasks and criteria.
