Job summary

Astronautics is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to lead end-to-end management of complex commercial and government subcontracts supporting critical programs at our Oak Creek, WI Headquarters. You will negotiate, draft, and manage contracts to align with customer requirements while safeguarding the company’s interests.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement, you will review terms, mitigate risk, monitor performance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contract terms.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement procedures, and subcontractor management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of complex commercial and government subcontracts.
• Negotiate and draft agreements aligning with customer contracts and compliance.
• Oversee subcontract performance from solicitation through execution.
• Mitigate risk and monitor contractual obligations and performance.
• Administer contracts, purchase orders, and maintain ERP records.
• Provide cross-functional support to other departments.
