Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. is seeking a Buyer II to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of subcontracts within a dynamic aerospace/defense environment.

You will develop acquisition strategies, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with Supply Chain, Contracts, Program Management and Engineering. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of procurement experience, strong communication and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technical or administration (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience with make-to-print machined parts, electro mechanical components, or electronic assemblies.
• Ability to read/understand blueprints is strongly preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for multi-level interactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life cycle of defined subcontracts from acquisition strategy to closeout.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Contracts, Program Management and Engineering to optimize processes.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders to consensus on key procurement decisions.
• Request, review and process supplier quotes and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers on price, availability, and delivery schedules.
