Job summary

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is offering a Global Customer Advocacy Intern opportunity as part of the Strategic Student Program. You will source and activate customer stories, develop training resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify advocacy materials.

Studying for a Bachelor's in Marketing or related field, you’ll coordinate multiple projects in a matrix environment and learn tools like Jira, Wrike, and Teams while working remote in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or related qualification in marketing or communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to create assets.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects in a matrix organization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Wrike, and Teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote resources and training materials on customer advocacy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to identify value points in the lifecycle.
  • Help develop advocacy branding and program guidelines.
  • Create customer stories in various formats (case studies, blogs, videos).
  • Support cross-functional teams to amplify reviews in campaigns and on websites.

Baseline Requirements:

  • Remote – based in the United States

Global Customer Advocacy Intern

The Global Customer Advocacy Center of Excellence is committed to inspiring trusted partnerships with our customersand internal stakeholders to build an optimized experience for our customers.

In this internship, you will play an essential role in sourcing and activating customer stories and peer reviews. The result of your efforts will be a growing and visibly more robust group of advocates who get value out of interacting with us and their peers and are willing to widely share their positive experiences with Siemens products and services.You’ll also provide immediate value to our internal stakeholders and customers by creating resources and training materials to educate and share best practices around customer advocacy.

  • Develop and promote resources and training materials to educate internal stakeholders on customer advocacy initiatives
  • Work with our customer facing teams to identify key touchpoints in the customer lifecycle where we can provide value to our customers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on customer research initiatives
  • Assist in the development of advocacy branding and program guidelines
  • Partner with internal teams to find customer stories in domains where none currently exist and promote opportunities for developing them to customer facing teams
  • Develop communication plan to amplify customer stories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of marketing assets from customer review content (e.g., case studies, blogs, podcasts, videos, etc.)
  • Liaise with internal execution teams to amplify customer reviews within campaigns and on customer-facing websites

Organization Requirements:

  • Studying for a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Ability to coordinate multiple project simultaneously
  • Passionate about creating great customer experiences
  • A great communicator
  • Able to work effectively in matrixed organizations
  • Experience creating content and designing assets
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use project management and communication tools like Jira, Wrike, and Microsoft Teams
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
