Position Overview:
We are seeking a Global Communications, Media Relations & Operations Intern to support global initiatives that strengthen Siemens' brand, reputation, and thought leadership worldwide. You will work closely with communications professionals across Media Relations, Reputation & Thought Leadership, and Communications Operations while contributing to high-visibility projects, global events, and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support global communications and media relations activities.
Track, analyze, and report media coverage and communications performance.
Assist with content creation for newsletters, social media, presentations, and internal communications.
Support major industry events, including media engagement and coordination activities.
Contribute to planning, documentation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Help manage communications tools and platforms such as SharePoint, Cision, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Collaborate with global stakeholders on strategic communications projects.
Requirements :
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Remote work within the United States of America with possibility for hybrid if located near Wilsonville, OR; Livonia, MI; Mason, OH; Plano, TX; St Louis, MO; Pasadena, CA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Analytical mindset and interest in working with data and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a global environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
