The successful candidate will work with customers and internal teams to oversee demand, inventory, pricing, and account performance, while identifying new opportunities to drive profitable, long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience in account management, outside sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
• Steel industry experience is strongly preferred, especially in service centers or processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with an established base of customer accounts.
• Identify, pursue, and develop new customers and profitable business opportunities.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and understand their business and requirements.
• Plan and conduct customer visits, sales calls, and commercial discussions.
• Negotiate pricing, volumes, terms, and other commercial considerations.
• Monitor customer requirements and coordinate inventory levels to support demand.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and other internal teams to meet customer expectations.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and communicate market conditions.
• Share sales and purchasing intelligence with leadership.
