The role partners with sector leadership to drive growth while ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal rules.

The position requires leading diverse teams, deep contract risk management, and experience with various contract types. Hybrid role based in Falls Church, VA; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years of contracts administration experience.
• 10+ years of related contracts administration experience.
• 5+ years of State and Local experience.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience identifying risks in terms & conditions and mitigating those risks.
• Highly experienced with various contract types.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and manage performance.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR and procurement regulations.
• US Federal Acquisition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of the contracts administration staff within the State and Local Sector.
• Ensure internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions.
• Advise leaders on contracts and acquisition requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, including price, terms, and conditions.
• Coordinate pricing strategies and proposal risk assessments.
• Develop staff growth and succession planning.
• Engage agency contracting executives to cultivate relationships.
• Review and approve proposals for submission to customers.
• Review pre-award and post-award agreements.
