Job summary

Daniel J. Edelman Holdings in New York City or Los Angeles is seeking a Manager, Sports Partnerships to support our sports rights and partnerships business.

You will deliver client service, strategic thinking, and activation excellence across partnerships and activations. You will own workstreams, translate objectives into strategies, manage budgets, and collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and agencies to bring partnerships to life.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in sports marketing or partnership agency.
• Strong knowledge of sports industry teams, leagues, athletes and trends.
• Demonstrated project management across multiple stakeholders from strategy to execution.
• Experience working directly with clients and external partners.
• Strong strategic and creative thinking with clear communication.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and workstreams from strategic development through execution and launch.
• Develop activation ideas that integrate brands into sports partnerships.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and build trusted relationships.
• Manage relationships with rights holders, leagues, teams, properties, talent reps, agencies.
• Create client-facing materials: presentations, status reports and dashboards.
• Monitor budgets and financials, ensuring scope and pricing discipline.
• Support growth through research, proposals, and pitches.
• Provide mentorship to Coordinators and junior team members.
• Be hands-on for major activations and events, including travel as needed.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as required.
