Job summary

Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is seeking a Sponsorship Development Partner to lead the corporate sponsorship and partnership program for parks and related initiatives. You will build strategic relationships that generate financial and in-kind support, manage sponsorships through their lifecycle, and ensure collaborations advance equity and universal access in line with MPRB goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of progressively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Recreation Administration, or closely related field.
• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in corporate sponsorships, business development, fundraising, partnership management, sales, marketing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic corporate sponsorship relationships that support parks, programs, events, and facilities.
• Identify, negotiate, administer, and steward sponsorships throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure partnerships advance the park and recreation needs of diverse communities and align with the MPRB's mission, priorities, policies, and brand standards.
