Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Operations Assurance Analyst to support 24/7 I&W mission protection for critical space assets. You will maintain crew certifications, develop TTPs, and guide procedures to ensure mission success in a high-threat environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring I&W systems, reporting risks, and creating leadership briefings. Strong orbital mechanics knowledge and experience with STK and I&W tools are required.

Qualifications

• Experience must include space defense operations and/or space operations, including I&W tools (STK, ASW, DPS, DSS, MPS).
• Orbital mechanics knowledge and conjunction assessment experience.
• Active TS/SCI with adjudicated Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dual certification in BSA and WO 24/7 crew positions and stay proficient on system tools like STK.
• Develop TTPs, COAs and improve checklist entry thresholds.
• Assist in integration of latest I&W software tools and set alerting thresholds.
• Report on operations capabilities, system degradation, latencies and statuses affecting mission.
• Detect threat activity and maintain space/terrestrial catalog databases.
• Routinely create reports and brief leadership on space events.
• Analyze satellite state data sources and report vulnerabilities to assets.
• Prioritize and execute collection tasking with available resources.
• Participate in space event planning and exercises.
• Maintain awareness of high-interest terrestrial and space activity.
• Perform contingency tasks and initiate recalls when directed.
• Identify gaps and mitigate risks to mission success.
