Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Operations Assurance Analyst Junior to support 24/7 Indications & Warnings operations for space assets. You will help maintain crew readiness and develop tactics, techniques, and procedures for mission protection.

The role emphasizes space threat awareness, orbital mechanics expertise, and proficiency with STK and related I&W tools, with expected collaboration across leadership and space operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in space defense operations or space operations including I&W system tools (STK, ASW, DPS, DSS, MPS).
• Applied knowledge of orbital mechanics and conjunction assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dual certification in BSA and WO 24/7 crew positions and proficiency on system tools.
• Develop TTPs and COAs and improve thresholds for entry criteria.
• Assist in integration of latest I&W software tools and guide alerting criteria as a subject-matter-expert.
• Report on operations capabilities, system degradation, latencies and statuses impacting the mission.
• Detect threat activity and maintain terrestrial/space catalogs and reports.
