Job summary

Medica is a nonprofit health plan serving multiple states and partnering with providers to deliver coordinated care. We are seeking a Category Lead to own vendor lifecycle, contracts, risk, and analytics across Operations, Legal & Finance, and Products, Health Services & HR.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, executive communication, and strategic vendor optimization. Office-based with on-site work required three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 8+ years in vendor management, sourcing and procurement strategy.
• Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle and sourcing principles.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor lifecycle activities from selection to offboarding.
• Coordinate with ES&P and business units on contract renewals and terminations.
• Analyze vendor performance data and prepare value-focused reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on RFI/RFP/RFQ and negotiations.
