Job summary

Thea Energy in the United States is seeking an experienced Manager, Strategic Sourcing & Technical Subcontracts to oversee high-value contracts for our commercial fusion systems.

You will build strategic relationships with engineering firms, construction contractors, and specialized suppliers, drive complex SOWs, negotiate terms, and align vendor agreements with program milestones while safeguarding legal and financial risk.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of contract law concepts including warranties and IP protections.
• Experience drafting and negotiating high-value subcontracts.
• Ability to manage complex supplier agreements with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and execute significant technical subcontracts for fusion components.
• Manage supplier performance against complex statements of work and milestones.
• Formulate negotiation strategies protecting IP, confidentiality, liability, and pricing.
• Coordinate with leadership, finance, and legal to manage risk in vendor agreements.
• Bridge engineering needs with business agreements, including payment schedules.
• Source and evaluate global manufacturing partners for advanced projects.
• Own NDAs and confidentiality agreements for supplier engagement.
