GEA Group in the United States (Illinois) is seeking a skilled procurement professional to drive category strategy and supplier negotiations across multiple categories. You will manage sourcing projects, coordinate with category managers, and ensure alignment with corporate procurement policies.

The role emphasizes cost analysis, contract management, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to procurement processes.

Formación

• University, bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
• Procurement or Supply chain Certification (optional).
• Experience in procurement processes.
• Know-how contract management.
• Cost analysis and management.
• Cultural awareness.
• Experience with implementation of corporate procurement.
• Work experience in complex organizations.
• Negotiation experience.
• Systems, Ariba, S2P, SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Works with category managers and project procurement managers to implement category strategy.
• Adapts and implements catalogues and framework contracts at divisional/regional levels in line with guidelines.
• Leads negotiations, handles RFQs, awards, and follow-up aligned to strategy.
• Executes supplier selection and develops supplier base; identifies new suppliers.
• Resolves supplier issues (quality, delivery, service) and monitors performance.
• Drives automation and digitalization of procurement practices and tool improvements.
