Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Supervisor, Sourcing to lead raw materials procurement and supplier relationships. This role will drive cost-effective supply chain operations from kickoff through product launch, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will manage supplier performance, coordinate with engineering and production, and support ISO 9001 activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in a supervisory purchasing/logistics/SQEs role.
• Strong writing, grammar and communication skills.
• Proficient with procurement processes, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, production and QA to ensure procurement supports production needs and quality.
• Lead the new supplier development program and manage supplier communications.
• Negotiate with vendors to meet cost, service and delivery targets.
• Track supplier program costs and timing; conduct regular reviews to stay on budget and on-time launch.
• Support Inside Sales with deliveries, provide tracking numbers and ETAs.
