Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Supervisor, Sourcing in Jeffersonville, IN to lead raw materials procurement and supplier relationships. The role covers supplier development, cost management, and alignment with production quality and schedules.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, production, and QA teams, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely, cost-efficient procurement while supporting ISO 9001 activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in supervisory purchasing/logistics/SQEs.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, travel, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA to align procurement with production needs and quality.
• Manage the new supplier development program and current supplier communications.
• Build vendor relationships through negotiation and accountability.
• Track costs and timing for the new supplier program and ensure on-time launch within budget.
• Support Inside Sales with deliveries; provide tracking numbers and ETAs for on-time freight arrival.
