You will interpret drawings, BOMs, and specs to align supplier capabilities with engineering and operations, driving strategic sourcing and long-term supply decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 6+ years in sourcing/purchasing or supply chain roles.
• Experience in vertically integrated manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specs for supplier qualification.
• Strong Excel, cost modeling, and supplier performance analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategies for raw materials and technical commodities.
• Drive supplier qualification and development with engineering and QA teams.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements to minimize total cost while meeting specs.
• Travel to supplier sites for audits and capability assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast demand and define supply strategies.
