Job summary

Twin Disc, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support manufacturing operations at its Racine, Wisconsin facility.

You will manage the supply of materials and components, ensure uninterrupted production, and maintain inventory levels while monitoring supplier performance. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material availability, resolve supply issues, and maintain accurate planning data in JD Edwards (JDE) and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, accounting, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in manufacturing, materials management, purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, or production support.
• Based at Twin Disc’s Racine facility; office with production floor interaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Twin Disc contact and owner for assigned suppliers and part numbers.
• Manage supplier communications regarding forecasts, production schedules, delivery commitments, and changing business requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues affecting production schedules or material availability.
• Escalate potential supply interruptions and coordinate resolution to minimize operational impact.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to support timely and reliable material flow.
• Support cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages and improve availability.
