Job summary

Twin Disc, Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking a Junior Sourcing Specialist to support our Supply Chain team at our Racine headquarters. You will manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, expedite critical materials, and communicate risks to internal stakeholders. The role offers growth in a world-class manufacturing environment and requires a 0-3 year background in supply chain or procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, operations management, manufacturing engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor purchase order acknowledgements and ensure supplier responses within timelines.
• Follow up on open, unacknowledged, or revised POs.
• Maintain accurate supplier delivery commitments in ERP (JDE preferred).
• Support supplier portal management and electronic communication processes.
• Track supplier performance metrics (OTD, POs acknowledged, past due orders).
• Expedite critical materials to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
• Coordinate routine communications on schedules, forecasts, inventory, and order status.
