Job summary

PPG is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement activities for its Aerospace Transparency facilities in Sylmar, CA and Grand Prairie, TX. You will assist with RFQs, supplier communications, and PO creation, working with procurement leadership to ensure timely sourcing of services and materials for plant operations.

The role reports to the Sourcing Manager and includes on-site responsibilities, with opportunities to analyze spend and improve processes across supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or eligible refugees may apply.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in supply chain or related field.
• 1+ years in procurement, purchasing or supply chain functions; internship counts.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day purchasing and sourcing for operations.
• Issue RFQs and collect supplier quotations for review.
• Create and manage POs for services and equipment.
• Maintain procurement records and monitor supplier performance.
• Assist in supplier negotiations and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Planning teams.
