Job summary

PPG, a leader in coatings and specialty materials, seeks a procurement executive to drive aerospace sourcing strategies in the United States. You will oversee supplier qualification, market analysis, RFQ/RFP processes, and global sourcing decisions to support new product development.

Responsibilities include negotiating long‑term supplier agreements, guiding contract strategy, and presenting analyses to executives.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of proven expertise in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation; aerospace experience is advantageous.
• Strong background in supplier relationship management and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Ability to leverage data analytics to drive informed decisions.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for aerospace materials and commodities.
• Lead supplier qualification, second-source development, and supply readiness initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis, cost modeling, RFQ/RFP processes, and source selection.
• Manage domestic and international sourcing, outsourcing, and insourcing decisions.
• Negotiate long‑term supplier agreements and lead contract negotiations.
• Present sourcing recommendations to executive leadership and ensure contract compliance.
• Serve as procurement representative on cross‑functional aerospace teams and manage risk mitigation.
