Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or 2 years of relevant experience.
• A background in supply chain or sourcing preferred.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation & selection.
• Proven ability to identify solutions and problem solve.
• Must be comfortable and capable working on-site in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational & administration skills.
• Ability to absorb technical information of products.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Good computer skills (MS Office), SAP ERP experience highly desirable.
• Flexible & pro-active attitude with an ability to think strategically.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Ability to work to agreed time scales and deadlines.
• Experience dealing with products such as industrial supplies, MRO parts, critical spares, electrical components – a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing of products and suppliers to support open enquiries.
• Support sales staff with technical queries on product and identify solutions for our customers.
• Ensure timely turnaround on all customer enquiries to enable the best customer service experience.
• Negotiate pricing, deals, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, build on current product offering, and create additional value for customer base.
• Conduct regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality & cost-effective solutions.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders to develop business and maximize opportunities.
• Manage tender enquiries and negotiation of contracts.
• Work as part of a dynamic and experienced team to help achieve company goals.
• Develop a strong understanding of our product offering, supplier base, competitive landscape, and customer applications.
