Akkodis is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for 6 Months Contract position with a client located in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid - 3 Days onsite & 2 Days remote)

Pay Range: $45- $63/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Summary

Seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic procurement initiatives that deliver measurable value across cost optimization, supplier performance, and supply chain continuity.

As a key member of the sourcing team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, strategic acumen, and a proven ability to influence change across complex organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure sourcing alignment
Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers; lead contract negotiations and relationship management
Implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor market dynamics and industry trends to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
Demonstrated success in driving cost savings and improving supplier performance
Strong project management and communication skills
Proficiency in negotiation and contract management
