Brown & Brown in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing to lead enterprise procurement and vendor governance. You will define strategy, build a procurement function, and drive cost savings while partnering with IT, Claims, Underwriting, Legal and Finance.

This role requires strong leadership, deep insurance procurement knowledge, and a track record of delivering measurable savings and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management best practices and procurement technology tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments impacting insurance and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an enterprise-wide procurement strategy aligned with goals and compliance.
• Build and lead a procurement team across the organization.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key vendor categories (IT systems, CRM, marketing).
• Evaluate procurement tools and platforms to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Manage RFIs, RFPs, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
