Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation seeks a procurement professional to lead supplier identification and selection for direct materials, drive cost reduction, and manage supply chain risks for new and existing products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize BOM costs and negotiate favorable terms.

The role requires 8+ years with a BS or 5+ years with a Master's, plus strong analytics, communication, and ERP experience in a fast-paced medical devices environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years with a BS degree in an Engineering discipline, Business Administration or related field, or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
• PMP or PMI certifications from an accredited organization are preferred.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, contract development, and ROI analysis is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability and Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of buying, material planning, master scheduling, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier identification and selection for all commodities to manufacture Procept products.
• Act as primary liaison between Supply Chain and internal/external partners.
• Analyze and present cost data for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Negotiate supply agreements to secure quality, cost, delivery, capacity and performance.
• Support BOM cost reduction targets through competitive sourcing techniques.
• Conduct RFQ, RFI, and negotiate favorable terms of purchase.
• Develop commodity strategies and execute approved strategies.
• Participate in supplier quarterly reviews and communicate expectations.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement of business processes and tools.
• Maintain compliance with PROCEPT Quality Management System.
