Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Kennesaw, GA seeks a Sourcing & Procurement Lead to drive strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and timely purchasing to support manufacturing and operations.

The role combines negotiation, hands-on procurement, and data-driven inventory stewardship to improve cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity, working with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier terms and improve cost, quality, or delivery.
• Hands-on experience with MRP-driven purchasing, inventory management, replenishment planning, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management to improve total cost, quality and delivery.
• Manage PO lifecycle, from requisition to delivery and closure, with ERP/MRP alignment.
• Maintain safety stock, reorder points, and stocking parameters to balance availability and working capital.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, and Finance to align material availability with commitments.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory data in NetSuite and use reporting to drive improvements.
