Job summary

Coperion Process Solutions LLC in the United States is seeking a Buyer II to manage procurement activities, oversee PO execution, claim management, and supplier relationships to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery.

You will support category strategies, participate in negotiations, and ensure compliance with Procure-to-Pay processes, master data maintenance, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial or technical degree or apprenticeship with 5+ years relevant procurement experience.
• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes and stakeholder management.
• Strong financial acumen and customer-service mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiations skills.
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Achieve operational KPIs such as claim management, PO execution, and invoice reconciliation.
• Manage supplier relationships for tactical, day-to-day procurement.
• Expedite critical suppliers to meet delivery, budget, and quality targets.
• Implement category strategies and framework contracts; provide feedback to Global Category/Global Sourcing.
• Deliver annual savings through negotiations for assigned product groups and suppliers.
• Perform end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Collaborate with OpCos and suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, warranty, and payment issues.
• Ensure compliance with PO policies and standardize procurement processes.
• Maintain master data and support MRP settings for procured parts.
• Develop and use analytics, tools, and SOPs provided by COE & Excellence.
