Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Colorado is recruiting for a Manufacturing Support Team Member to lead supplier relations, sourcing, and end-to-end procurement for engineered products. The role focuses on delivering on-time materials, driving supplier performance, and collaborating with internal customers to resolve issues.

The position requires strong communication, procurement experience, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in material sourcing and/or procurement.
• Experience working with product vendors.
• Experience managing schedule and cost.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work full-time, on-site.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, but not required to start.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage strategic, critical, and tactical supplier relationships to achieve best value and identifying and managing supply chain risks.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for a range of engineered products.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance to meet schedule, quality, cost and technical requirements, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans as required.
• Act as the primary interface between suppliers and internal customers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations, and influencing outcomes at multiple organizational levels.
• Driving continuous improvement within procurement and the wider supply chain.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations at a variety of levels.
• Use Enterprise Resource planning tools to conduct logistics planning, management, and tracking activities.
• Evaluate material issues/concerns to determine impacts to business operations
• Identify schedule delivery improvement opportunities with a focus on early and on-time delivery of materials to support the manufacturing success.
• Generate reports and develop metric reports to provide performance status to leadership teams.
• Conduct contingency schedule planning to determine best path forward and mitigate hardware delays.
• Understand and communicate the plan for deliverable hardware including critical path, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
