Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management including Procurement, Subcontract Administration, or Category Management.
• Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System and related procedures.
• Experience managing Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontract efforts from RFP to program execution.
• Experience directing teams overseeing subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develops a global sourcing strategy for commodities.
• Defines project scope and facilitates execution to deliver differentiating value.
• Works with cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks and opportunities.
• Negotiates and manages contracts with suppliers to enhance performance.
• Implements policies and metrics to realize savings and meet requirements.
• Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category.
• Ensures quality and performance of supplier products.
• Oversees recruitment, training, performance, and discipline within the subcontract team.
