Job summary

AMD in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a procurement/supply chain professional focused on Thermal Liquid Cooling BOM management, supplier coordination, and risk reduction across design milestones.

Responsibilities include tracking material readiness, releasing FCST and demand orders, and working with engineers to plan risk management to reduce E&O. Bachelor’s degree and strong MS Office skills required; on-site in Secaucus, NJ.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM and NPI development costs.
• Track material readiness with suppliers and report material shortages to reduce supply chain risk.
• Track Thermal Liquid Cooling BOM and Part numbers across milestones.
• Release FCST and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to manage risk and ensure material readiness.

THE PERSON:

RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM, related NPI development costs and change history with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers based on each milestone of design phase.

Manage raw material readiness status with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers, track and report key material shortage and co-work with function team and suppliers to pull in raw material delivery schedule, reduce supply chain risk.

Track and manage Thermal Liquid Cooling BOM and Part numbers on each milestone of design phase.

Release Thermal Liquid Cooling FCST and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate with suppliers to manage/secure material delivery schedule.

Co-work with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers and Engineers to plan/perform risk management for material readiness and reduce E&O.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Well knowledge of BOM structure, design process in Thermal Liquid Cooling (servers/Rack).
• Advanced analytical and communications skills.
• Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Planning and Organization: Plan actions with well-structured tracker.
• Accountability: Take action proactively and timely until issue resolves.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Industry experience in the ODM/OEM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry.
• Direct experience in supply chain function is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups.
• Proficiency in English and bilingual in Mandarin preferred.
• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain principles and skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Industrial/Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
