Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, TX is seeking to optimize supplier engagement for Thermal Liquid Cooling across design milestones. You will manage RFQs, coordinate with suppliers on BOMs, material readiness, and risk mitigation.

The role involves tracking BOMs, releasing forecasts and demand orders, and negotiating delivery schedules with suppliers to reduce E&O. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential to secure materials on time.

Responsibilities

• RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM and NPIs
• Track material readiness and report shortages with suppliers
• Track Thermal Liquid Cooling BOMs and part numbers at design milestones
• Release FCST and demand orders; negotiate with suppliers to secure material delivery
• Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to plan risk management and reduce E&O

THE PERSON:

RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM, related NPI development costs and change history with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers based on each milestone of design phase.

Manage raw material readiness status with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers, track and report key material shortage and co-work with function team and suppliers to pull in raw material delivery schedule, reduce supply chain risk.

Track and manage Thermal Liquid Cooling BOM and Part numbers on each milestone of design phase.

Release Thermal Liquid Cooling FCST and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate with suppliers to manage/secure material delivery schedule.

Co-work with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers and Engineers to plan/perform risk management for material readiness and reduce E&O.
