Job summary

AMD is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Secaucus, NJ to lead Thermal Liquid Cooling supply planning, BOM tracking, and supplier RFQs.

You will coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure material readiness, manage forecast and demand orders, and reduce supply chain risk through proactive supplier collaboration and detailed planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with ODM/OEM environments, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Industrial/Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proficiency in English and bilingual in Mandarin preferred.
• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain principles and skills.
• Years experience in the ODM/OEM Manufacturing or Server System Solution industry.
• Direct experience in supply chain function is a plus.
• Years experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including pivots and V-Lookups.

Responsibilities

• RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM, related NPI development costs and change history with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers based on each milestone of design phase.
• Manage raw material readiness status with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers, track and report key material shortage and co-work with function team and suppliers to pull in raw material delivery schedule, reduce supply chain risk.
• Track and manage Thermal Liquid Cooling BOM and Part numbers on each milestone of design phase.
• Release Thermal Liquid Cooling FCST and demand orders to suppliers and negotiate with suppliers to manage/secure material delivery schedule.
• Co-work with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers and Engineers to plan/perform risk management for material readiness and reduce E&O.

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking Strategic Sourcing Manager to be based out of our New Jersey, Secaucus office to manager Thermal Liquid Cooling supply.

THE PERSON:

RFQ with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers for Costed BOM, related NPI development costs and change history with Thermal Liquid Cooling suppliers based on each milestone of design phase.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Well knowledge of BOM structure, design process in Thermal Liquid Cooling (servers/Rack).
• Advanced analytical and communications skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Years experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups.
