Job summary

Stryker in the United States seeks a seasoned strategic sourcing leader to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by shaping sourcing strategies and supplier relationships across engineering and operations.

You will lead negotiations, contracts, and risk management to reduce costs while ensuring quality and supply continuity throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires 8+ years in Supply Chain and a deep understanding of supplier development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Supply Chain or related manufacturing skill set with sourcing experience.
• Knowledge of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, terms, and administration.
• Experience assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and negotiation to optimize quality, service, cost, and supply continuity.
• Develop and negotiate supplier contracts and ensure ongoing supplier performance.
• Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to support product development and launches.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and mitigate supplier risk across the NPI lifecycle.
