Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Law, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years related work experience, preferably involving negotiation and contracts.
• Understanding of supply chain management concepts and procedures.
• Knowledge of legal, contracting, third party risk environments.
• Ability to communicate complex cost models, risk, and business concepts at executive levels.
• Strong people and project management skills; ability to influence without authority.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across divisions and communicate upward effectively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the department goal of $100M in Savings/Cost Avoidance.
• Lead multiple sourcing initiatives including strategy, supplier selection, market intelligence, and contract execution.
• Lead the negotiation of complex terms with executives and legal representatives.
• Direct Senior Leaders toward the best purchasing decision balancing cost and business needs.
• Mentor Buyers and Sourcing Specialists while sharing best practices across Divisions.
• Develop RFx documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain records in the contract management system and related tools.
• Identify ad hoc opportunities to reduce costs and drive process improvements.
• Assess pricing with analytics and benchmarking for competitive outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships to forecast upcoming sourcing needs.
• Champion process improvements and provide impact feedback.
