Job summary

TICO Tractors is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead procurement of raw materials, components, and services for our manufacturing operations in the US. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage relationships, and ensure alignment with quality and cost targets.

You will supervise two Sourcing Specialists, guide day-to-day activities, mentor the team, and partner with other departments to optimize supply continuity and cost efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• At least three years of progressively responsible sourcing/procurement experience.
• Supervisory or people-management experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or automotive/industrial procurement experience preferred.
• Demonstrated cost-reduction and supplier-management success.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Directly supervises, trains, and develops two Sourcing Specialists.
• Leading supplier negotiations and contract management to maximize value.
• Monitor supplier performance, costs, and risk; drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain purchasing policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify requirements and substitutions.
• Manage POs and requisitions using the MRP system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
