Job summary

Everforth Apex in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager II to develop and execute product category strategies. You will collaborate with Hardware Engineering, TPM, Finance, and Operations from prototype to mass production to enable successful launches.

The role emphasizes negotiating master agreements and SOWs, leading cost-reduction through should-cost modeling, and maintaining supplier scorecards. Experience with Tier 1 manufacturers and international suppliers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business).
• 3–5 years in supply chain, sourcing, or contract manufacturing, with Tier 1 experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier performance measurement, and cost-reduction skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive early supplier engagement in NPI/NTI programs.
• Establish supplier criteria and manage selection with engineering and quality teams.
• Negotiate master agreements and SOWs to optimize price, delivery, and terms.
• Lead design and cost trade-offs to influence production design and processes.
• Develop supplier performance measurement systems and conduct reviews.
• Lead total cost reduction programs across product cost, transport, inventory and quality.
• Utilize should-cost models to inform negotiations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations to maintain standard structures and milestones.
• Manage supplier scorecards and SOW contracts.
