Strategic Sourcing Manager – Automotive (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

Analysis of national and international procurement markets

Optimization and further development of the procurement process

Support of operational purchasing, particularly in escalation management

Participation in the supplier management process, including onboarding, classification, evaluation, development, and phase-out

Preparation of preliminary cost calculations for new projects and communication, particularly with Engineering/Design, as a basis for further cost reductions

Conducting requests for quotation, offer comparisons, negotiations, and drafting supplier-specific contract agreements such as framework agreements, quantity contracts, etc.

Initiation and implementation of cost-saving projects

Your profile

Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant additional training

At least 5 years of experience in automotive purchasing at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier; ideally in the commodity groups electronics or injection molding

Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Good MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

SAP experience is an advantage
