Overview

Description York IT Solutions is hiring Strategic Sourcing Manager in remote and contract capacity.

Role: Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $40-$50 W2

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and contract management activities for cloud and IT services, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and managed services.
• Review, negotiate, and amend existing application contracts to support cloud migration.
• Partner with Legal, IT, and InfoSec to draft and redline MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, SLAs, and other technology agreements.
• Conduct end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) activities including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and purchase requisition coordination.
• Collaborate with business owners to identify contract dependencies, licensing needs, and vendor performance considerations.
• Support broader sourcing needs (10% of role) within other indirect categories when bandwidth allows.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to sourcing leadership and IT stakeholders.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure contractual compliance through proactive management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management with a focus on IT and technology services.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting and negotiation for technology agreements (cloud, SaaS, software licensing, managed services).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, IT, and Security teams on contract terms and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/S2P systems; knowledge of Ariba or Coupa preferred.
• Healthcare or PBM experience helpful but not required.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and time management skills.
• Self-directed, proactive, and capable of working autonomously in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related discipline.
