Work Schedule:

Onsite - Murphy, NC

Moog's Industrial Supply Chain Group is seeking a Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Manager. You will be responsible for developing strategic sourcing plans, including supplier identification and selection, negotiation and closing of high-value long-term agreements, supplier relationship management, and supplier development. Your ability to manage relationships and influence stakeholders is critical. You will report to the Manager, Sector Supply Chain in Murphy, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop strategic sourcing plans for multiple commodity groups.
2. Support and recommend Make vs Buy strategy decisions.
3. Evaluate global market environments.
4. Develop and manage commodity strategic plans to meet business needs.
5. Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships to generate competitive advantage, including investment in training and long-term onsite presence.
6. Develop supply channels to reduce lead times, inventory, and costs while improving quality and delivery.
7. Manage Supplier Relationships, supported by Regional Supply Chain Management.
8. Negotiate and maintain contracts and pricing, including claim management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. Over seven years of progressive experience in manufacturing or related fields.
3. Negotiation skills and knowledge of procurement and contractual law preferred.
4. Strong understanding of contractual requirements and business systems.

Preferred:

• Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain, additional education, or a master's degree in Business.

Salary Range:

Murphy, NC: $70,000 - $110,000 annually
