Job summary

NEXHR is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead chemical spend across North America, focusing on Raw Materials and PFR categories. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience.

You will run RFPs and negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure ISO and ESG standards are met. The role requires cross-functional leadership, market benchmarking, and the ability to identify new opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Previous procurement/sourcing experience, ideally within chemicals or manufacturing.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and category management.
• Strong commercial, financial and supply chain understanding.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and strategic projects.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory, ISO and supplier compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for Raw Materials and PFR categories.
• Lead RFPs, negotiations, should-cost analysis and market benchmarking.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts and strategic renegotiations.
• Build relationships with key local and international suppliers through SRM.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects, incorporating TCO and global procurement strategies.
• Identify new suppliers, technologies and market opportunities to drive innovation.
• Monitor market trends, inflation, supply chain conditions and geopolitical risks.
• Develop contingency plans and supplier diversification to protect continuity.
• Manage supplier KPIs, audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure suppliers meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, ESG and regulatory standards.
• Maintain pricing and commercial conditions within SAP and provide regular reporting on spend, savings and supplier performance.

• Lead RFPs, negotiations, should-cost analysis and market benchmarking to identify savings and improve commercial terms.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts and strategic renegotiations.
• Build strong relationships with key local and international suppliers through effective Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects, incorporating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and global procurement strategies.
• Identify new suppliers, technologies and market opportunities to drive innovation and competitiveness.
• Monitor market trends, inflation, supply chain conditions and geopolitical risks to identify potential business impacts.
• Develop contingency plans, alternative sourcing strategies and supplier diversification to protect business continuity.
• Manage supplier KPIs, audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure suppliers meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, as well as ESG and regulatory standards.

Requirements
