Job summary

FITS, LLC is seeking a seasoned Sourcing professional to lead strategic procurement initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, and facilities. You will partner with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and drive cost reductions while ensuring compliance in a regulated industry.

The ideal candidate has experience with ARIBA, SAP, and competitive bidding, and can establish metrics to monitor supplier performance and risk across multiple categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field with 4 years in sourcing or procurement.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and competitive bidding (RFP/RFQ).
• Familiarity with ARIBA, SAP, and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for the sourcing organization in the categories managed.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs impacting Cost of Goods Manufactured.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams in supplier selection and negotiations.
• Create and manage RFPs using ARIBA and SAP.

For Sourcing services in the Engineering area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT:

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field with four (4) years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain within a regulated industry.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.

Experience in:

• Strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and execution of competitive bidding processes (RFP/RFQ).
• Capital procurement (CAPEX) supporting engineering, manufacturing, facilities, utilities, construction, and equipment-related projects.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Legal, and other stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and procurement plans.
• Supplier selection, performance management, risk assessment, and cost reduction initiatives impacting manufacturing operations.
• ARIBA, SAP, and other procurement systems utilized for sourcing events, supplier management, and contract administration.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Serve as the primary expert for the Sourcing organization in the categories managed.
• Work with Business Areas and Stakeholders to identify new areas of process improvement.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs that impact Cost of Goods Manufactured.
• Modify or implement methods that lead to Process improvements to the operations.
• Apply Lean and Operational Excellence Principles.
• Establish and lead cross-functional sourcing team in selection of suppliers and negotiations.
• Create and manage RFP using electronic systems, i.e. ARIBA, SAP.
• Experience in negotiating new or revised Master Agreements with key Suppliers.
• Analyze Suppliers data to assess Supplier's financial stability risk.
• Interact with Corporate Risk Management to assess Insurance policy coverage.
• Interact with Legal to find resolution in Terms and Conditions with Suppliers.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor supplier performance stability and monitor potential risks.
• Execute orders once implementation criteria have been achieved.
