Job summary

FITS, LLC is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for the Asset Management Project area. The role supports PO management, supplier sourcing, and cost-control efforts within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices space.

You will collaborate with project managers, finance, and operations to ensure timely procurement, accurate records, and compliant practices, while maintaining strong supplier relationships across the US and Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or related discipline with 3+ years in procurement within Pharma/Medical Devices.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong communication.
• Administrative shift and ability to adapt to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and follow up on Purchase Orders to support project requirements.
• Generate and process requisitions in line with procedures and timelines.
• Identify, contact, and evaluate potential suppliers for assets and services.
• Lead supplier negotiations to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships and act as primary procurement contact.
• Coordinate with project managers, finance, and operations to address procurement needs.
• Track PO status and expedite deliveries as necessary.
• Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support contract administration and supplier performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree inBusiness Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Financeor related disciplineand at least three (3) years of previous exposure to procurment, purshasing, sourcing, or supply chain activities within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry.
• Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communication)

• Experience in:
  • Purchase Order (PO) creation, management, and tracking.
  • Requisition development and approval processes.
  • Supplier sourcing, qualification, and relationship management.
  • Vendor negotiations, pricing analysis, and contract support.
  • Budget tracking and cost control initiatives.
  • ERP systems and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar preferred).
  • Inventory management and asset procurement processes.

• Coordinate with project managers, finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure procurement needs are properly addressed.
• Track purchase order status and expedite deliveries when necessary.
• Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support contract administration and supplier performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier metrics, and purchasing status updates for project stakeholders.
