Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC seeks a Category Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations across assigned spend categories. You will manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, ensuring supplier performance and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify savings opportunities, improve supplier relationships, and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience leading RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Contract negotiation and supplier management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP events for assigned categories and suppliers.
• Develop category strategies that deliver cost savings, value creation, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.
• Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, implementation, renewals, and ongoing supplier performance.
• Conduct spend analysis and value opportunity assessments, presenting recommendations to team members.
• Build strategic supplier relationships while identifying emerging market trends, innovations, and sourcing opportunities.
• Implement and support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs across assigned spend portfolios.
• Partner with teams and internal customers to align sourcing strategies with goals and operational requirements.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements, and performance expectations.
• Lead large-scale sourcing projects, and supplier negotiations while driving process improvements.
• Develop procurement team members, including performance management, coaching, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business leaders to optimize supplier performance, improve operational efficiency, and achieve sourcing goals.
