Job summary

MP Materials is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to purchase materials, equipment, and services for the mine’s operations and to manage supplier relations. You will lead negotiations to achieve best value while controlling costs and ensuring on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, strong analytical skills, and experience with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint. This is a full-time on-site role based at the mine facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• CPSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, equipment, and services for maintenance, repairs, and operation of the Mine; negotiate with suppliers.
• Create purchase orders and agreements; manage PO lifecycle from entry to payment.
• Utilize RFQ, bid analysis, and negotiation to maximize value; seek new value-leveraging practices.
