Job summary

Air Master Group is seeking a results-driven Strategic Sourcing Leader to drive supplier strategy, competitive sourcing, and cost optimization across multiple units and spend categories.

The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to maximize value while minimizing risk, and requires bilingual English/Spanish, ERP/MRP experience, and global supplier experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement.
• Proven experience leading sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction programs.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiations, RFQ/RFP processes, and TCO.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities for direct materials, indirect materials, MRO, services, and project-related purchases.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding, and commercial negotiations.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, cost avoidance, and working capital improvement opportunities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support operational, financial, and supply continuity objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Analyze company-wide spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects, operational requirements, and business growth initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, service, and cost competitiveness.
• Develop risk mitigation and dual-sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity.
• Support inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives.

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with domestic and international suppliers.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing manufacturing materials, metals, aluminum, glass, hardware, MRO, or industrial services.
• Knowledge of low-cost country sourcing strategies and supplier development.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
